New Columbo Mobility Program - China (July 2019)

Completing 6 credit points over three weeks, this program offers students the chance to experience and learn about the opportunities and challenges of practising design in China. Through a series of projects under the theme of healthcare innovation, this program will expose you to real-world design issues in China. These projects will be undertaken in partnership with local Chinese design studios and with local design students from the Southeast University-Monash University Joint Graduate School (Suzhou). The program will integrate site visits, factory tours, cultural institutions, and gallery tours to provide an understanding of the importance of China to the global design and manufacturing industry.

This program is generously supported by the Australian Government through the New Columbo Plan. Providing scholarships of $3000 per eligible student (+$500 from Monash Abroad). Interested students can apply here.
